The ACE UK team is based in Northwich, UK.
Its role is to:
Richard Hands, Chief Executive
Richard heads ACE UK, having been Chief Executive since it was established in its current form in 2010. He is the main spokesperson for the industry with Government organisations, stakeholders and the media. Richard has been involved in environmental affairs in the industry for ten years, following twenty years in environmental management and sustainable development in the public sector.
Mandy Kelly, Senior Recycling Manager
As the most recent member, Mandy joined the team mid-January 2016. With over 32 years' experience in the industry, Mandy joins ACE UK from Palm Recycling.
Mandy’s day job at ACE UK will be extremely varied, especially as she manages a small, multi-skilled team. The real emphasis on the team is to ensure that as many Local Authorities as possible are recycling cartons, preferably through their kerbside collection scheme. Including managing budgets, communications, attending exhibitions, direct Local Authority engagement and waste management company liaison, Mandy and the team do it all.
Emma Griffiths, Recycling Officer
Coming from a customer services background, Emma has been a member of the team since 2007. She works with many Waste Management Companies sourcing baled carton material to be recycled at our UK facility and supports Local Authorities regarding carton recycling. Other duties include communications support, attending exhibitions, responding to general enquiries, maintaining compliance documentation and supporting Georgina liaising with the vast majority of Local Authorities regarding carton recycling.
Georgina Bray-Deacon, Administrator
Georgina joined us in July 2014 and effectively manages our UK carton recycling bring bank scheme, liaising with Local Authorities providing key data and support. Other duties include monitoring ACE UK's digital and social media channels and offers admin support to the team (which means keeping everyone organised!). Georgina is currently studying for a degree in Environmental Science and hopes the role will deepen her understanding of the industry.
